Community Involvement

On becoming a "Community" Chartered Credit Union in 2007, we not only expanded our membership to all of Muskegon County, but also our involvement in the community we serve. Our initiatives include the following:

Muskegon Area Schools

  • News in Education (NIE) Classroom sponsor, furnishing the Muskegon Chronicle to area classrooms
  • Providing financial educational learning materials to area schools through the "Financial Literacy Project" and "Banzai/Life Scenarios"
  • Supporting area schools booster clubs through sponsorships of their school sports programs
  • Sponsorship of Safetypup Program, Child Safety, Dangerous People and Crime Prevention Program for area elementary schools

Muskegon Lumberjacks

Muskegon Rescue Mission

  • Over the past three years we and our members raised over $ 1,000.00 for the Muskegon Rescue Mission Annual Community Christmas Dinner

Love Incorporated

  • Over the past several years we have participated in food drives for Love Incorporated, helping to raise several thousand tons of food for those in need in our community
